AultmanNow School-based Telemedicine Visits

What Area Offers This Service?

Telehealth services are available in the following school districts: Canton City, Carrollton, Claymont, Malvern, Minerva, Orrville, Rittman, Sandy Valley, Tusky Valley, Wayne County Career Center, Waynedale and West Branch.

What Is AultmanNow School-based Telemedicine?

AultmanNow is a healthcare service that provides a convenient family practice provider – online – for your sick child while they are still at school. With your permission and the assistance of the school nurse, your child can be seen by a family practice provider by using telemedicine technology. Using your smartphone or computer, you are welcome to join the visit without leaving your home or office. AultmanNow brings affordable healthcare to your child’s school, so that they can feel better, faster.

Who Is Eligible for a Telehealth Visit?

All students and faculty members who have a non-emergency medical condition and have completed the telemedicine enrollment requirements are eligible for an AultmanNow visit. For more information on health conditions treatable via telehealth, click here

How Can My Child Receive Telehealth Services?

You must fill out and sign several forms prior to the visit. There is a telemedicine consent, a HIPAA consent and a FERPA consent. You must also complete a medical history form for your child. These consent forms are found in Final Forms, One View, or in paper format from your school.

Additional Information

  • This program is for non-emergency ailments like sore throat, cough, cold, fever and more.
  • When your child is sick at home or doesn't feel well at school, they can visit the primary care providers at Aultman Orrville Carrollton Health Center virtually with a telehealth visit. Click here to learn more.
  • If you would rather see a provider in-person for a non-emergency ailment, we also have four convenient AultmanNow urgent care locations.
